There’s no upgrade option if you want to upgrade from Vista 32bit to Windows 7 64bit, so I’ll need to do a clean install. These are the apps and tools I’ll need to install:
- Visual Studio 2008
- ReSharper
- ViEmu
- TestDriven.NET
- Visual Studio Tools for Silverlight 3
- ASP.NET MVC 1.0
- Xceed Components
- Report Sharp Shooter
- SQL Server
- SQL Server 2008
- SQL Server 2005 Express
- Virtual PC 2007 (I have to check if I can use the Windows 7 Virtual PC)
- Subversion / TortoiseSVN
- Office 2007
- Mozilla Firefox 3.5 ( or maybe version 3.0 or wait to 3.5.1)
- DBDesc
- Picassa 3
- Skype
- SlimTimer
- HP MediaSmart Connector
- TweetDeck
- vim
- Spotify
- Putty
- 7-Zip
- Windows Live Writer
- Paint.NET
- FoxIt Reader
- UltaVNC
On top of this I need to add the appropriate licenses and configure the apps. I’m afraid I’ll have to wait until the weekend…
